Katherine Competition

The Katherine competition runs in the wet season from October to April which is the opposite to Darwin. There are four clubs with one grade each: Katherine Pirates, Brahamans, Tindall Lions (RAAF) and Katherine Barbarians. Matches are on Friday nights at the Katherine Workers Club fields on Giles street. Katherine briefly experimented with fielding a composite team in the Darwin competition, but found it difficult to sustaining it.
